السعودية تفتقد جهود ماطر في كأس العالم

تفاقمت اصابة نجم خط وسط النصر والمنتخب السعودي لكرة القدم ابراهيم ماطر ما يعد ضربة موجعة لاستعدادات (الاخضر)، الذي سيخوض غمار نهائيات كأس العالم التي ستقام في كوريا واليابان معا اواخر مايو المقبل. واكدت مصادر طبية ان مشاركة ماطر في المونديال باتت شبه معدومة. واوضحت هذه المصادر ان ماطر (يحتاج الى فترة لا تقل عن ثلاثة اشهر ليتعافى من اصابته)، الامر الذي سيضع مدرب المنتخب ناصر الجوهر في موقف صعب لانه يعول كثيرا عليه في خط الوسط. لكن الاتحاد السعودي لم يعلن رسميا حتى الآن عدم مشاركة ماطر (27 عاما، 175 سم، 68 كلغ، 73 مباراة دولية) في النهائيات المصاب في اسفل القدم اليمنى. من جهة اخرى لا يزال نجم الوسط الآخر سعد الدوسري يعاني اصابة لحقت به في قدمه حيث تعرض الى آثار مضاعفة نتيجة خطأ في التشخيص في بداية العلاج، وتبدو امكان مشاركته في كأس العالم ضعيفة ايضا. اما بالنسبة الى المهاجم عبد الله الشيحان، فانه تعافى بنسبة كبيرة وبات على وشك العودة الى تشكيلة المنتخب والامر ذاته ينطبق على المهاجم الشاب طلال المشعل.
