استبعد رئيس نادي انترميلان الايطالي ماسيمو موراتي وجود أي نية لدى النادي للتخلي عن مهاجمه البرازيلي رونالدو الى ريال مدريد الاسباني. وقال انه لن يصدق ان اللاعب البرازيلي يريد ان يرحل الى ان يسمعها منه وجها لوجه واضاف موراتي لصحيفة (لا ريبا بليكا) في مقابلة نشرت (لم اتحدث معه أخيرا لكنني اعرف من الخبرة انه حين يكون في البرازيل تثار التكهنات). وتابع (اعتدت ألا أصدق التقارير. اصدق فقط ما أراه واسمعه بأذني. هذا سبب انني قبل أي شيء انتظر التحدث الى رونالدو وجها لوجه). وقال وكيل اعمال رونالدو لريال مدريد الاسبوع الماضي ان النجم البرازيلي مستعد لترك انتر رغم ان المدير الرياضي لريال خورجي فالدانو قال ان النادي مهتم نسبيا فقط باللاعب. وقال موراتي الذي دفع 27.9 مليون دولار لضم رونالدو للنادي من برشلونة عام 1997 انه لا يمكنه تخيل انتر دون رونالدو (25 عاما) وانه سيفعل أي شيء للحفاظ عليه. واضاف: ليس لديه أي نية للتخلي عن رونالدو. انه ليس للبيع. حددنا فقط سعرا أساسيا لن ننظر فيما دونه، ويبدأ هذا السعر من 100 مليون يورو (98.91 مليون دولار)).
