البحرين تستضيف كأس العالم للصالات

قدم رئيس المؤسسة العامة للشباب والرياضة في مملكة البحرين الشيخ فواز بن محمد الى رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم فيفا سيب بلاتر اقتراحا لاستضافة البحرين بطولة العالم للصالات المغلقة لكرة القدم 2005. وقد ابدى بلاتر موافقته المبدئية على الاقتراح ورحب بالفكرة، واذا تمت الموافقة فأن البحرين ستكون اول دولة عربية تستضيف بطولة العالم للصالات المغلقة.
