الأرسنال بطل درع المجتمع

اضاف الارسنال درع المجتمع الى انجازات الموسم الماضي، بعد تغلبه على ليفربول بهدف نظيف حمل توقيع البرازيلي الدولي جيلبرتو سيلفا في مباراة اقيمت على ستاد ميلينيوم في كارديف بويلز.وجاء هدف المباراة في الدقيقة 68 بقدم سيلفا الذي لعب مع بداية الشوط الثاني اثر تلقيه تمريرة من الهولندي دينيس بيرغكامب سددها بيسراه قوية على حافة منطقة الجزاء لم يستطع حارس مرمى ليفربول جيرزي دوديك التصدي لها فمرت من تحته. وشهدت المباراة سيطرة شبه مطلقة للفريق اللندني واضاع مهاجموه فرصا بالجملة كما استطاع دوديك ان ينقذ مرماه من العديد من الهجمات حتى انه تصدى لثلاث كرات خلال عشر ثوان من اقدام هنري وبيرغكامب. في المقابل لم يستطع لاعبو ليفربول مجاراة منافسيهم ولم يتمكنوا من خلق فرص لزملائهم المهاجمين اوين وهيسكي وضيوف، رغم محاولات هيسكي الجادة وحاولوا الضغط بعد دخول مرماهم الهدف الوحيد، الا ان محاولاتهم لم تشكل خطورة حقيقية حتى انتهت المباراة لمصلحة الارسنال.
