اتحاد الإكوادور يرغب بغوميز |

يأمل اتحاد الاكوادور لكرة القدم في بقاء هرنان داريوغوميز مدربا للمنتخب وكان غوميز قد ساهم في بلوغ منتخب الاكوادور التأهل لنهائيات كأس العالم 2002. وقال بيدرو مونوز المتحدث باسم اتحاد الاكوادور لكرة القدم انتهى عقد السيد غوميز مع انتهاء كأس العالم ولم يعد مسؤولا رسميا عن الفريق.
وبات غوميز الذي قاد منتخب بلاده كولومبيا في نهائيات فرنسا 1998 بطلا قوميا عندما تأهلت الاكوادور للمرة الاولى لنهائيات كأس العالم 2002. وتردد اسمه ايضا كمرشح محتمل لتولي تدريب منتخب كولومبيا. وخسرت الاكوادور اول مباراتين لها امام ايطاليا والمكسيك وخرجت من الدور الاول بنهائيات كأس العالم، لكنها حافظت على ماء وجهها عندما فازت على كرواتيا في آخر مباراة لها في البطولة في نتيجة ساعدت ايطاليا على الصعود الى دور الستة عشر. |
