ذكرت شرطة كولومبيا انها القت القبض على طبيب كولومبي عالج اسطورة الكرة الارجنتيني دييغو مارادونا اثناء محاولته تهريب كوكايين في مطار دولي. وعثرت الشرطة بحوزة موريسيو فرغارا على نحو 2 كيلو غرام من الكوكايين وضعهما في حقيبة جهاز الكمبيوتر المحمول الخاص به وحقيبة كاميرا واخرى للملابس. وكانت الحقائب في طريقها الى الارجنتين حيث كان الطبيب يعتزم حضور مؤتمر عن الطب الرياضي.
ويمكن ان يواجه فرجارا (34 عاما) عقوبة السجن لثماني سنوات على الاقل لمحاولته تهريب كوكايين تصل قيمته الى حوالي 30 الف دولار. وكان الطبيب عالج مارادونا في مدينة كالي الكولومبية من زيادة الوزن العام الماضي، وقال اخيرا انه عرض خدماته على رونالدو نجم ريال مدريد.
وكانت لمارادونا نفسه مشاكله مع ادمان المخدرات.
